Hey Mr. is a funky little cafe based out of two locations in Brisbane, New Farm and Dutton Park. The owners provided the logo and a word document, with a rough brief of 'something funky' and 'we like pink'. The rest was up to me... with a deadline of one day to get the menu designed, formatted and proofed.

The menu was designed with the food menu on one side and the drink menu on the other side. I chose the colours of red and blue to complement the pink background, and added 'Let's Eat' for the food menu and 'Let's Drink' for the drinks menu.

The menus were printed on a thick card-stock and were matt cello-glazed to provide protection from constant use.

I was also commissioned to design a takeaway menu. I chose a square folded brochure to stand out from the regular DL folded brochure typical of takeaway menus. The takeaway menus were printed onto a 150gsm uncoated stock and folded to a 140mm square.

The clients also required staff shirts to be created using their logo. Other work included coffee loyalty cards and gift cards using a different colour combination
